With LinkedIn Learning, Dürr’s more than 18,000 employees have been able to expand their knowledge since November 2021 – digitally, in easily accessible video learning units that can be used at any time and flexibly integrated into everyday life. “With this new way of learning, we are well positioned to cope with the challenges in our changed working world,” Group Head of Human Resources Klaus Achtelik is convinced. “Our employees have been very receptive to this offer for their personal development.”
With the ambitious goal of motivating 60% of its workforce to use LinkedIn Learning in the first half of 2022, the Dürr Group had launched a fundraising campaign in January. With every registration on the learning platform, the employees made a contribution. The donation goal of 30,000 euros was reached in July. The commitment to learning of employees in the Dürr Group is above average: Customary in the industry are 40 percent registrations in this period.
With the donation, the mechanical and plant engineering firm supports an educational project of the “Childaid Network” in Northeast India. The German foundation is committed to providing access to education for children in rural regions of South Asia. Parents are also involved and further training is offered for teachers.
