teamtechnik has been part of the Dürr Group since February

Since the beginning of February 2021, teamtechnik has been part of the Dürr Group through a majority interest of 75%. The company, based in Freiberg near Ludwigsburg (Germany), is a globally leading automation specialist with sales of over €100 million and approx. 900* employees. By integrating the company into the Group, customers will be offered further solutions in the future-oriented areas of electromobility and medtech.

Electromobility: This business segment accounts for approximately 60% of sales at teamtechnik. Here, the company primarily offers systems for testing completely assembled electric drives and hybrid transmissions. Another activity includes solutions for the assembly and testing of battery modules.
Together with teamtechnik, Dürr can offer its customers a broader portfolio of solutions in the field of electromobility.
Medtech devices: teamtechnik generates approximately 20% of its sales with automated production systems for medical devices, such as injection systems, inhalers, infusion sets and contact lenses. In the past years, teamtechnik has successfully positioned itself as a system supplier in this new business segment.
Together with Dürr, this business is to be expanded so that production solutions can be offered for further product areas in the medtech business.
Service and other business such as stringers for the solar industry account for a further 20% of teamtechnik’s sales.

teamtechnik is a technological leader in testing systems for electric drives and already boasts an impressive installed basis that we want to additionally expand.
