End of line test stands for autonomous driving cars
Feb 15, 2019
Intelligent systems need intelligent testing technology
The development toward autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles over the next few years means that requirements for end-of-line testing will increase further. We expect autonomous driving on our roads no later than 2025. The test stands for the revolution in the end-of-line area are already available at Dürr.
The x-light headlamp setting system and the x-wheel wheel alignment stand are the start of end-of-line testing for your vehicle production.
The x-around multi-sensor calibration test stand also enables you to calibrate and test the next generation of assistance systems and autonomous systems.
In addition to conventional tests carried out on a roller test stand, x-road curve enables vehicles to be tested at high speed, taking the vehicle’s steering into account.
Make your final assembly fit for self-driving cars!
To achieve substantial efficiency enhancements in production, future vehicles will move autonomously through the end-of-line area and will be tested without any operator input. Aside from static calibration, it will also be necessary to perform dynamic function tests, such as vehicle handling in typical traffic scenarios. Would you like to find out more about how to make the test stands in your final assembly fit for the future? Then simply contact our specialists at Dürr Assembly Products!
