Your task
Generation of the project "Boilerplate" documents which include Owner Specifications, Owner T&Cs, Dürr T&Cs, Site Specific Requirements, Compatibility Information etc.
Coordinate, chair, and document Bid Package review meetings.
Assemble Bid Package documentation, create price sheets, installation schedules, and distribute to bidders.
Cost comparison sheets, analysis of commercial/technical information – mostly mechanical, structural, sheet metal commodities.
Follow-up bid packs and integrate information from engineering, operations (installation) and project management.
Provide answers to all bidders for any questions that occur during the bid cycle.
Coordinate and document clarification meetings with potential subcontractors.
Reports to global sourcing committee – provide analysis of offers recommendation for placement, pros-cons and results of bidding process (PO value vs budget).
Lead bid packs from RFQ to PO placement and during execution.
Negotiate with subcontractors (fabrication and installation), primarily sheet metal, structural steel, mechanical and electrical installation, rental equipment.
Document Pre-Award requirements, obtain approvals, and create the Purchase Order in SAP
Attend and support project meetings.
Willing to go to job site as required.
Collaborate with Supplier development: pre-qualification of eligible suppliers (technical, legal and commercial approach); evaluation of suppliers, lessons learned, among others.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Trade or Engineering.3-5 years of experience in equipment installation/construction environment.
Able to read engineering drawings - plan layout and sectional drawings.
Good organization and time management skills
Strong Negotiation skills are required.
Experience with ERP (SAP desirable).
English fluent - capable to understand and communicate in a business and technical environment.
Sense of urgency – proactiveness.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with the suppliers at all levels and build productive working relationships with all internal/external customers.
The candidate must be self-motivated and can prioritize and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of construction installation requirements for both automotive and non-automotive industry.
The candidate must have a flexible approach and be able to work within a team.
