Dürr’s guests can inform themselves about the machinery and plant engineering group’s latest innovations at twelve stations; in addition, there are presentations and discussion forums. The spectrum of exhibits ranges from painting, glueing, and assembly systems for the automobile, wind turbine, and aircraft industries, via environmental technologies and balancing equipment, through to assembly systems for e-mobility drive batteries.
One highlight is the compact EcoReBooth painting booth system, based on Dürr’s energy-saving EcoDryScrubber technology. Each EcoReBooth unit has its own integral air circulation system, in which the conditioning of the air can be individually controlled. By eliminating the previously customary centralized air circulation system this also saves space and costs.
To reduce CO2 emissions in automobile painting, Dürr is presenting a body dryer that uses solar thermal energy, and the exhaust-air purification systems EcoPure TAR and EcoPure KPR. Other live demonstrations include the new Ecopaint swingarm painting robot, the latest EcoLCC color changer generation, and new dosing and application systems for sealing welded seams on automobiles.
Dürr’s machinery activities are represented at the Open House, among other things, by the environment-friendly EcoCSteam cleaning system. Other high-tech innovations are the TBcomfort turbocharger balancing machine and the CompStart filling system for the automotive industry.
For its customers in the aircraft industry Dürr is demonstrating the EcoPositioner positioning system, the FAStplant assembly technology, and the EcoInspect system for the fully automated scanning of aircraft fuselage shells.
