Award from Fiat for Dürr’s Italian subsidiary CPM S.p.A.

Bietigheim-Bissingen – At the convention “Supplier Qualitas 2013” at the auditorium of Lingotto in Torino the Fiat Chrysler Group awarded CPM S.p.A., an Italian subsidiary of Dürr, as “Capital Equipment Supplier of the Year”. CPM receives this price for the excellent quality of their work, with the motivation that “CPM jointly developed with Fiat Chrysler an innovative solution for the marriage of body & powertrain "flex decking", installed successfully in all the Regions”.

This Award is a result of the long lasting relationship between Fiat and CPM. The close cooperation leaded to the jointly developed flex decking line, an innovative solution for the marriage of body and powertrain. This technology has been installed successfully in Fiat plants in different regions of the world, for example in Pomigliano or Melfi, Italy, in Kragujevac, Serbia, in the Chinese plant at Changsha and in the Chrysler plant in Toledo, USA, while a new installation is going to be built in Pernambuco, Brazil.
