I am currently responsible for developing new products for the Edge Processing business unit. I particularly enjoy the extent of freedom working within the HOMAG Group. During my trainee program, I was able to choose and work in areas of the company that specifically interested me. The trainee program also provided me with the opportunity for personal development to expand my knowledge and to ultimately find a suitable position within the company. Thanks to this freedom and the diverse training, I have successfully transitioned from a mechanical engineering background to a career in control system development. I am grateful to the HOMAG Group for this opportunity and for its continued trust in my abilities.
The friendly atmosphere within the company creates an environment where you can not only focus on your work, but also enjoy it at the same time. Another advantage is the location in the Black Forest. The beautiful landscape and fresh air provide an excellent setting for relaxing during lunch breaks or after work.

About Anqi Lyu

Anqi Lyu did her master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. After discovering HOMAG at a career fair, Anqi Lyu started as a trainee within the group.

After completing this 15-month program in 2016, Anqi joined the control system research & development team.
