Your Tasks
- Based at our Head Office in Warwick, working under a hybrid office/home arrangement, reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Accounting for Durr Ltd and its subsidiaries
- Treasury Management
- Taxation
- Month, quarter and year end reporting for the financial accounting area
- Balance sheet (including leases)
- Supporting all of the Business Units within Durr Ltd and its subsidiaries on financial accounting related financial matters
- Being the first point of contact for the finance area of the Durr Ltd business.
Your Skills
- With previous experience of working within an engineering / project background, you will have already gained a Finance Qualification, preferably CIMA.
- Previous supervisory experience of Finance personnel is essential.
- IFRS knowledge, a working knowledge of UK and European taxation and exposure to international trade and experience with foreign exchange transactions is required.
- You will have a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to use MS office applications. Experience of SAP is preferred.
- You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with the customer at all levels and build productive working relationships with all internal/external customers.
- You will have the ability to prioritise workloads and to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You will be self motivated and be able to work unsupervised and with initiative.
- You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.
This role is for a fixed term contract commencing in May / June 2025 covering Maternity leave.
