YOUR TASKS:
- Manage the day-to-day activities, goal setting, performance management and development of the team;
- Provide expert knowledge of Marriage / Decking systems and automation solutions;
- Manage all automation projects according to agreed timelines and report on progress;
- Directing the activities of the automation engineering team – provide direction & work priority;
- Set clear functions & responsibilites in Engineering team and develop people to Application Experts;
- Continuous innovation management regarding final assembly developments for product lines Marriage and Automation in collaboration with Dürr product management and Engineering;
- Setting directions for continuous improvement and development of assembly products / equipment, focusing enforcement of continuous product cost down;
- Setting the overall target pictures for the future of automotive assembly in collaboration with R&D and Product Management. Drive the transformation to high automated automotive assembly;
- Strategic evaluation of future trends and customer needs;
- Support Sales Team in preparation for technical clarification meetings
YOUR SKILLS:
- Fundamental technical or business-technical education (finished studies in mechanical engineering, controls engineering, industrial engineering or similar);
- Several years experience in the automotive business as technical leader or professional manager;
- Fundamental final assembly value chain understanding;
- Fundamental understanding of the transformation process within the automotive industry and having the ability to develop new solutions;
- Innovation Management fundamentals compared with pragmatic market screening approach;
- Strong communication skills for organizational improvements;
- Excellent engineering competence and entrepreneurial thinking;
- Good Leadership Skills
